Loggerhead Club & Marina™ - North Miami Beach is currently being renovated. The marina is closed indefinitely while construction to the marina and the adjacent condominiums are being constructed. For the latest information please contact 888-LOGGER2.
The following Frequently Asked Questions reflect answers prior to the current construction.
What is Loggerhead Club & Marina™?
Loggerhead Club & Marina™ is a collection of marinas owned and operated by Seven Kings Holdings, a leader in marina management, located throughout the East coast of Florida. Loggerhead Club & Marina™ currently includes nine (9) facilities from north to south: Vero Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach, Lantana, South Lantana, Hollywood, Aventura, North Miami Beach and Miami. Loggerhead Club & Marina™ offers wet and dry slips, depending on the location, and provides unsurpassed service and amenities. All Loggerhead Club & Marina™ facilities are open to the public and offer transient, monthly, seasonal or annual slip rentals.
What are the benefits of joining from Loggerhead Club & Marina™?
Loggerhead Club & Marina™ is open to the public and we consider our tenants “Members.” Each property offers comparable benefits including concierge level service, on-site amenities such as captain’s lounges with complimentary gourmet coffee, newspapers and boating publications, clean upscale restrooms, reciprocal use of other Loggerhead Club & Marina™ facilities, virtual offices with fax, copy and internet access.
Each property has unique benefits such as wet slips, dry slips, annual leases, seasonal leases, weekly or daily transients opportunities. Laundry facilities, on-site repairs and maintenance, haul-out, fuel such as hi-octane gasoline or marine grade diesel, on-site restaurants, pools, gymnasium, spa, cable, phone and/or other amenities are again unique to each Loggerhead Club & Marina™.
Membership in Loggerhead Club & Marina™ offers traditional marina access with modern amenities, social interaction such as rendezvous and picnics, and singular ownership providing continuity and consistency.
What is the relationship between Loggerhead Club & Marina™ and Loggerhead Marinelife Center?
Loggerhead Club & Marina™ is committed to marine conservation. Therefore, Loggerhead Club & Marina™ agreed to make a near seven figure contribution to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center for the construction of a new 13,000 square foot campus in Juno Beach, Florida. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a marine hospital and rehabilitation center whose mission is to assist injured sea life, especially endangered sea turtles, and educate the public about conservation of our treasured waterways.
We encourage our Members to visit and support the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. We will be adding a kiosk to each marina to provide helpful tips on the water. Membership information for the Loggerhead Marinelife Center will also be available. Is Loggerhead Club & Marina™ a “Clean Marina”?
Our marinas in Vero Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach, South Lantana, Hollywood and Aventura are designated “Clean Marinas.” The other marina’s are in various states of approval for their respective designations as Clean Marinas.
Do you have Wet Slips?
Our new design is planned for 100 wet slips up to 90 feet in length. Exact numbers of slips following completion has not yet been determined.
What is the depth of the marina or approach to the marina at low tide?
Our entrance canal has a minimum depth of 10’ and there is a minimum of 8’ dockside clearance.
Do you have Dry Storage?
We do not have Dry Storage at Loggerhead Club & Marina™ - North Miami Beach. We do, however, have several Dry Storage marinas in the Loggerhead Club & Marina family including Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach, Lantana and Miami.
Do you rent boats?
We do not rent boats at our marina. If you are interested in a charter boat, we can assist you in arranging and charters may come into our marina to pick up clients. We can also assist you with local rental boat companies.
How do I get to Loggerhead Club & Marina™ - North Miami Beach?
From I-95: Exit I-95 at Ives Dairy Road and head east to Biscayne Boulevard (Federal Highway or US-1). Turn right and take Biscayne Boulevard south to 172nd Street. We are located on the east side of Biscayne Boulevard at this intersection. Drive time: approximately 10 minutes.
From Florida’s Turnpike: Exit the Turnpike at SR-826 (167th St.) and proceed east to Biscayne Boulevard (Federal Highway or US-1). Turn left at Biscayne Boulevard and head north to 172nd Street. We are located on the east side of Biscayne Boulevard at this intersection. Drive time: approximately 15 minutes.
How can you access Loggerhead Club & Marina™ - North Miami Beach by water?
We are just off of the ICW at mile 1077 (marker 54), 9 statute miles from the entrance of Port Everglades (26 05.6’N - 80 07.0’W) to the north and 3 statute miles from Baker’s Haulover Inlet to the south. Note: This inlet has a fixed bridge of 32’. Travel time from Everglades is about 1:15. Travel time from Baker’s Inlet is about 0:20. Travel time to the Port of Miami is about 1:30. Our entrance canal is less than ½ mile long and leads to Maule Lake. We are located on the west-central wall of the lake. Our coordinates are 25 56.093’N - 080 09.006’W.
What are the hours for Loggerhead Club & Marina™ - North Miami Beach?
The North Miami Beach office is currently closed during construction. All Loggerhead Club & Marina™ locations are open 8:00am to 5:00pm daily and closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
What do we do if there is an emergency after hours?
The marina office phones are forwarded to an answering service. The service will contact a Loggerhead Club & Marina™ official in the event of an emergency. If the incident involves an injury or the law is being broken, please dial 911.
What is the closest airport?
Hollywood International Airport is about 15 minutes to our north at the intersection of I-95 & I-595.
We are also a short 30 minute drive to Ft. Lauderdale International Airport and Miami International Airport.
Do you allow live-aboards?
Loggerhead Club & Marina™ - North Miami Beach does allow live-aboards. Please check with our Harbor Master for more information.
Do you offer new or used boat sales?
We do not offer new or used boat sales at Loggerhead Club & Marina™ - North Miami Beach. Please feel free, however, to contact our Harbor Master for assistance regarding sales, boat rentals, charters or other leasing opportunities.
Do you sell gas or diesel?
Future plans call for a fueling facility offering Valvtect marine specific fuels.
Do you sell bait?
We do not sell live or frozen bait on site. We would be happy to provide directions to the nearest bait & tackle store and secure transportation for you if necessary. Our Ship Store will carry boating essentials including soda, beer, ice and soft goods such as hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets.
Are there any good fishing locations near you?
Fishing off-shore of Ft. Lauderdale is good for deeper water species (Sailfish, Swordfish, Wahoo & Dolphin) while the shallower waters in Miami and south are better for Snook, Grouper, Snapper & Tarpon. Biscayne Bay is a unique fishing experience because of its expansive flats.
Do you have on-site pump-out service and how do I arrange for pump-out service?
The new marina construction will not include pump-out service.
How far away is the beach?
The closest public beach is about 5 miles north of us, in Hallandale. There is also a clothing-optional beach 2 miles to the south, at Haulover Beach Park.
Are there any beaches or islands nearby that we can drop anchor and swim?
The South Lake, less than ½ mile north of our Hollywood location averages 3-4’ in depth and is a favorite of swimmers and tubers. Jet skis also occasionally use the lake, so beware. The average depth in the center of Biscayne Bay is 3’ and is home to Stiltsville, a collection of homes built on ‘stilts in the middle of the bay.
Are there any areas close by to go water skiing?
Water skiers frequent our own Maule Lake.
Are there any restaurants on the water that we can get to?
There are many restaurants near us…A short list of the closest would include:
1. Joe’s Seafood Restaurant & Market – (305) 381-9329. 400 NW North River Dr., on the Miami River. 11 am – 10 pm.
2. Docks on the Bay – (305) 949-2855. 3969 163rd St., N. Miami. 450’ dock. 7-12’ draft.
3. The numerous restaurants available adjacent to our Aventura property, about 4 miles to the north. A more complete list can be obtained by contacting the Harbor Master’s Office.
Are there any fixed bridges in the area and if so, what is the height limit?
There is one fixed bridge of 65’ between us and Port Everglades. There is also one fixed bridge of 56’ to our south, at the Julia Tuttle Causeway, mile 1087.1.
What are the hours of the bridges for your marina?
Dania Beach Blvd. opens on demand. Mile 1069.4
Sheridan Ave. opens on demand. Mile 1070.5
Hollywood Beach Blvd. opens on the hour & ½ hour. Mile 1072.2

Where is the closest public transportation stop and where do they go?
Several major routes stop directly in front of the marina, servicing most of Miami-Dade and Broward counties. The City of North Miami Beach also offers its own free shuttle service, making stops at various local grocery stores, shopping malls, restaurants, beaches and area attractions. This shuttle can be boarded right in front of the marina as well.
